Just as The Great Gatsby novel was born in the mind of F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1925, Granbury’s Gatsby, the local distinctive gift shop was born in the mind of Susan Moore (owner & operator) as she opened its doors for the first time on July 16, 2022, to the public.
Susan saw a need in her community where locally talented artisans could provide thoughtful memorable gifts for birthdays, baby showers, weddings, retirements, holidays, anniversaries, home purchases, end-of-life celebrations, or other important moments shared with loved ones & friends.
The gift shop is only part what makes up the Granbury’s Gatsby experience. With Susan’s background as an artist, instructor & event planning she made sure to include space to host a hub of activities such as parties, business meetings, fun classes, workshops, and other social gatherings.
However, Susan didn’t stop there and with her desire to provide an impeccable customer experience, her shop offers many services including but not limited to gift wrapping, embroidering, quilting, sewing alterations, sublimation printing articles, made to order gifts, and coming soon laser engraving.
